About Me

My photo
Namaste and welcome, I am a London based Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher dedicated to harnessing the ancient healing and transformative power of yoga, rooted in the Krishnamachrya lineage, for the rhythm of London life. Classes focus on connecting breath with movement in the art of vinyasa, creating a moving meditation which cultivates self-awareness, unity and realising our unlimited potential. In my dynamic, flowing and playful classes discover the beauty of just breathing, just being, delve into your heart space and connect with your inner spirit as we go deeper on the yogic path.

Spiritual Adventure

In two months time I am lucky to be setting of an adventure of a lifetime, following my sadhana to some of the worlds most beautiful, intense and spiritual places across Nepal, India and South East Asia.   Devoting my life to yoga practice, allowing time and space to evolve, be liberated, inspired and free.  To go to the highest places and be challenged  - physically and mentally.

It is daunting to leave my job, stability, family, comforts, routine and financial security behind and take a giant leap of faith into the unknown but I trust that it will be an incredible experience and I heed to the words 'nothing great was achieved without risk' and to my gurus advice to make space for what you love in your life, to be in your element and everything you need will come to you.

Reading Swami Satyananda Saraswati's Sure Ways to Self-Realization's words on moving meditation in travel mirrored why I am going on this journey,

"travel allows us to test ourselves fully, to learn about life, hunger, cold, heat, loneliness, ingenuity and faith, under the open skies.  It peels of all our old conecpts and patterns of behaviour until, like an onion, nothing of the old self reemains.  This sort of travel gives us rebirth and awakens in us higher consciousness.  We become open because we are in direct contact with the forces of nature.  In travel we are facing the unknown and the uncontrolled, just as on the spiritual path and in meditation we are facing the unknown and uncontrolled mind.  In both travel and inner life we are taking risks, but we can only gain from this.  One can only appreciate what this means after the first step is taken."

I'll endeavour to keep you updated each step of the way.
